This week has been a good one !

this week has been a good one!

we got to go to st marys (soup kitchen)  this week which is my favorite place in the entire world.  usually we just put the food on the plates and we only get to say like hi and have a good day to the people. but this time we got to serve the food, we got to take the food out to the people and talk to everyone! it was so much fun i got to meet so many cool people and make so many friends it was the happiest thing in the whole world. i am starting to learn peoples names and they know us now and it is just the best thing ever, and i got to learn about people stories it was just the funnest!
this week we have been a lil sick and it has been a miracle we have been able to teach anyone anything, god is so good and he really blessed us this week with his spirit. We had a lesson on Sunday, and i experienced the gift of tongues... but with English, my brain wasn't really working and we were talking and i felt like i had to say something but i didn't really know what and i just started talking and words just kept coming and it was way cool that i was able to even say anything. especially considering that the day before we were in the middle of a lesson and i was talking and then i couldn't remember at all what i was saying or what part we were talking about.
Hopefully we will all get feeling better soon.
but it has honestly been such a cool experience because we have realized how little we can do by ourselves and so much we can do with gods help. this week we have truly been able to see gods hand in this work and see how this is truly his work not ours .
loooovvvvveeee you have a good week

Living the Stockton life

on Wednesday we got to go to to the soup kitchen. it was really fun, we got to meet a lot of really sweet people. then that night we walked to the church and went to choir... yeah we are in a choir?  so we went and sang with 2 other members? then we stayed at the church for a while and made cookies with all the girls. then we stared walking home, we had only walked like 1/2 a mile when a member drove by us and asked if she could give us a ride home, it was a big tender mercy.
then on Thursday we had a meeting in the morning they told us about a new goal we have as a mission and that is to have a 110 baptisms before October. they asked us to ask each of our families to begin to pray that we as a mission will be able to find families to teach and families that are ready to learn more about this message. soooo if you all could start [praying for us a mission that would be so good. i know that god answers prayers that is something that has been proven to me time and time again here on my mission.
one of the sister we live with hit her 1 year so we all went out to eat to the best place in our area... Japanese fast food.
the garbage can said gracias , that pretty much sums up our experience at that restaurant.
we had the funnest night ever on Thursday, we went to this house and it was like ‪10000000000‬ degrees out side! so we went up to the door, and we talked to the mom for a sec then she had to go answer the phone. we then see her little kid jr smiling around the corner, when his mom went inside he ran up to us and and started spraying us with his water gun, he was having the time of his life he thought it was so funny. then when we were walking away he ran up in front of us and hid behind a car and started spraying us again, we then get in the car to leave and he opens the door and starts spraying the car. it was so funny and it made him so happy. it was also the hugest tender mercy because it was so hot.
on our way home that night we saw this man he is always outside standing on the street balancing things on his head that night he was balancing a recycling bin, and he was holding up a sign that said "i will literally not drop this on any cars" it was my best moment.
on Friday for weekly planning we went to jamba juice to make it more fun, we met one of my best friends in the whole world she was so cool, we both had wave rings on, she was from Florida, she loves the beach more than anything, we seriously became best friends, before she left i felt like i should give her one of my necklaces i was wearing and so i did and i have never seen anyone so happy in my life, the spirit is so good!
on saturday we had a temple tour with a little boy named manny he is 10 years old and he is getting baptized ‪on august 3‬, we invited him to be baptized last sunday ( i forgot to write about that). but anyway we were able to go to the temple with him an his family and he loooooovvvveeeedddd it so much he had so many questions and just soaked up everything,he is so excited to be baptized.
life is really good, its way safe here, and everyone is so nice! were are having so much fun

My happiest place on earth

Monday last week! My last night in my happiest place on earth.
First off we had the best pday ever it was so much fun.
Then that night, we had no idea where to go so we just prayed we went out and started walking we walked for about 45 mins and that's when the night started, we saw this homeless lady sitting on the bench we asked her if we could sit by her and talk for a minute, she was the sweetest lady ever, we talked to her for about 10 minutes just about how good God is, then another homeless lady walks by (dandy) and cynthia was like hey sit down and listen to them they will teach you about God. So we just sat on the bench for like 30 minutes with the kindest humans teaching them about God! About how good he his and how they can change their lives through him.
We left that bench and went on our way we walked for a while than we passed a man we were like hey how are you, then we asked what do you need, he was like I need a good day tomorrow, with that "what do you need" it's a questions I only ask to certain people, people who want to change who want happiness, some people just want money or fame. But some they want happiness something that we can promise them. So we handed him the book of mormon and told him read this and we promise you God will give you the best day of your life.
Then driving home me and my best friend just listened to music and sang so loud as we looked at the most beautiful sunset in the world. God is good. He wants us to be happy. My favorite thing has been promising people blessings, because I know they will happen especially if they read the book of mormon.
The next day we transfers .
My new area Stockton is SO nice. Its not scary, we have had a few times where we knew we needed to leave where we were but nothing bad has happened at all.
On Wednesday’s  we get to volunteer at a soup kitchen. It's in downtown Stockton and the whole city is just tents, shopping carts full of things its unlike anything you have ever seen it's just a community of homeless people it so crazy. On Wednesday we met so many people it was so fun.  I think that its going to be one of the highlights of my week. Life is good, God is good and he loves you. Have a good week!!!

Another perfect week!

it has been another perfect week.
on Tuesday we had a night of miracles.
miracle number 1; we had the best lesson ever with one of our friends, we have been teaching her for a while and this time it felt real it was so good.
miracle number 2: we had a lesson with a less active Herman in our branch and we invited her to the young women's activity we were teaching the next day and she was way excited to go.
miracle number 3: we walked down one of my favorite streets and we saw a man we met a few days ago at Walmart. when we met him we gave him a book of Mormon and told him to read enos, we promised him that if he read the book that his life would change. when we saw him again he looked happy he was smiling he said that he felt happier and that he just feels so much better.
miracle number 4: we saw tino again. we saw a man riding by on a bike and then we realized it was tino so we got to talk to him for a minute.
miracle number 5: then we had one of the best contacts i have ever had in my whole life. we prayed that night to find someone who had a broken heart  and god lead us right to him it was the coolest experience.
on Wednesday we taught young women's we painted book of mormons for our activity it was so much fun.
our air conditioning also broke.
on Wednesday me and Hermana Freeman got to go on teams up and go have a lesson with Carl and man we met together a few weeks ago. when we met him we prayed that day that we would find someone who 1. we connected with 2. we would be friends with in real life 3. someone who needed us. on Wednesday we realized that god answered every single part of my prayer.
then one day we were going to visit some of our friends that we haven't been able to talk to in a while, when we got out of the car i was like god if they need to hear this message let us talk to them, we walk up to the house and she is standing outside with her little baby!
the other day we went to HOOD my favorite place, aka mexico, we went and got our favorite cookies tru-blu so good and then did studies by the river. then we had a blitz i was with sister stuart we went to my best place florin ( the street where miracles always happen). we saw my best friend justin and his dog buddy we gave him a Book of Mormon a  few day ago to and he is just so cool. then we went to the home depot off of florin (there  are a lot of people who sit and wait for work) so we went up and started talking to people it was so cool. they were the sweetest ever, they were all so surprised that i spoke Spanish and they told me that it was so good and that they could understand me so that was the COOLEST.
yesterday was unreal! miracle 1, we go to see this family that lives in a gated community and no one ever goes in and out of there, so i was like if god needs us to be here then a car will come. then 4 cars come out all at the same time. it was so insane.
miracle number 2 that proves god is real. we were at another gated community and to get in you have to type a code in and the code wasnt working, we sat there for a few minutes and then this random guy just comes up from the street as he was walking types in the code and says there you go. that was it then he was gone! it was the craziest thing of my life.
god is real , god is good , life is good
lovvvee you all

Another best week

It has been the perfect week !!
On Monday we just went exploring all of sac. Got a lil vegan cupcake then we went to the coolest thrift store.
On Tuesday it was our best day.
We were doing studies then hna elizondo was like should we go see Fernanda and Maria. I felt like they weren't going to be home but that we should still go so we got up and left. We started walking to their house and we see this man who looks like he is dying. We were like are you okay and he said I think I am have heat stroke. So we went and got him a water from the gas station it was buy 1 get 1 and they are 32oz so a lot of water. So we put 1 in the car and go give him the other. We also asked him if we could do anything else for him and he said no. So we went to go see fernanda and Maria. They weren't home. So we start walking back and we see that he has already drinking all of the water we gave him. So we go to the car and get the other water bottle and go give it to him. Then he starts talking a little and we sit down and talk to him. We talked to him for like an  hour. He had a really hard life. He grew up In jail pretty much he said this was the longest he had been out of jail. His family didn't care about him. His life was so hard. And we just sat and listen and then talked about how God is always there for us and how he cares about us so much. It was my best moment I saw a broken man change right before me  he started to smile. It was a miracle. God had changed him. He thanked us for talking to him and said that he had been walking all night and day, not knowing where to go. He said he had been so angry all day at every one getting mad at every car that passed by. But he said I feel happy now. It was the most amazing experience of my life. One simple act of kindness Turned into a life changing moment for all three of us.
Later that night we played bigger or better as a zone (all the missionaries in my area) so we chose to share a message about faith and talked about how faith starts so small but then grows bigger and bigger over time. So we started out with a penny and then traded for so many cool things. Ended up with a cute lil hand painted pot  and some way cute clothes. we didn't win, but we won in our minds. Also this night we prayed for a sunset something so small but we knew God cares and guess what he does. We had the most beautiful sunset of our lives it was so Incredible! Then we just drove home listening to our music looking at the most beautiful sunset thinking about how good God had been to us.
Then on Thursday we zone Conference in Stockton. It was so good. One of the coolest things happened this day. At night we went to go see a less active member, we heard some one out back but the door was blocked kinda by trash can like it was resting against them. So I was like don you think we should go back there and the door open no wind nothing just opens. Then I was like so you think that's a sign we should go in opens even more. God is real!!! It was the coolest moment of my life. So we went and talked to them and had a really good lesson!
Then on Saturday we were out in the morning and we were parked in a parking lot and I see this man walking and I thought we should talk to him. Then I was like no we already have a plan of where we are going the car is on and everything so I drove away. Then we drove by him and I was like we have to talk him then I was still like no then it came again so we went. I hurried and parked in the McDonald's parking lot and the whole time I was praying that we would be able to talk to him. So we get out and I was like we missed. Then I see him turn and start walking toward us. It was such a cool experience. We told him about the plan he has for us and how he is always there  he told us thank you so much and that it was just what he needed
So many more miracles have happened to many to write life is so good. I have never understood those many scripture that say that they couldn't write everything until now. I have always just thought when reading them that they so could have written more. But now I get it. There is not enough room or time to write down all the many Miracles i have seen on my mission.

I love you all
